The back of this card is dated Germany Dec.27th 1918. Message a bit faint so h/w a bit of it. 'Just a card to let you know I am still alive & well, (goes on to wish them all well at home) Then 'We have just completed a march of one hundred & eighty miles (180) from France through Belgium to the Rhine and are now enjoying a rest after it. Have had a fairly good time since leaving N.Z.' Rest of the message is personal greetings etc. Signed W. Code. Written message, no post mark. Monday 1 July 1918 Lark Hill Durington Camp No 4. I think you will be able to read this msg, from the photo, but he basically says 'I am still in England I think I am very lucky to be here so long, but when the call comes I will go over the top and do my bit with the other soldiers best of love to all. Pvt C Webb.' Front reads Shrewton (1). This card is in very good order. Card pretty ordinary, however the message on the back is interesting. I have photographed it and put it on. You should be able to read it. Written up the other way at the top is an additional message which reads. 'I was going to write you a letter this time but I have only one hand now. Best Love Fred.' No address and no postmark. Corners rounded on card and well handled. . Higher definition resolution digital copies are available in TIFF or JPEG on a CD for $15.00 each. All pics up to A3 size are $15.00 incl gst plus p&p.

150mm x 100mm photos are $15.00 each

A4 Laser copies are $6.00 each.

A3 Laser copies are $9.50 each

Usually greyscale or black and white are in TIFF and colour pics in JPEG.
